Kuzbass expands scientific and technological cooperation with Donbass

The delegation from Kuzbass paid a working visit to the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics to discuss issues of scientific and technological cooperation and the creation mutually beneficial partnerships as part of interregional research and academic center «Kuzbass».

The delegation included representatives of The Center «Kuzbass – Donbass», KuzSTU named after T.F. Gorbachev and several business organizations. Working meetings with the Ministry of Education of DPR and LPR, universities, scientific and research institutions and enterprises. During the meeting the results of joint activities and the prospects for implementation of new projects were discussed. The Kuzbass delegation signed several agreements with major Donbass organizations to strengthen the cooperation: Donetsk National University, L.M. Litvinenko Institute of Physical Organic and Coal Chemistry, Makeevka State Research Institute for Safety in Mining and Research Institute «Resperator».

Project offices of The Center «Kuzbass – Donbass» were opened in LPR and DPR to strengthen cooperation.

Several scientific and practical projects are already being implemented. Among them is project «Development of machine learning models for prediction risks of the anthracycline cardiomyopathy».

Nowadays the research and academic center includes 17 Donbass organizations.
