KemSU and SibGIU (members of Scientific and Educational Center "KuZbass") presented the region at the fair of innovative developments in the Republic of Belarus

Scientific and educational organizations of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation as well as private enterprises engaged in innovation activities took part in the fair "Robotization and Mechatronics. Representatives of Kuzbass universities (members of the Scientific and Educational Center "KuZbass") presented their developments.

SibGIU post-graduate student Alexey Mikhno presented the project "Development of Materials for Automated Welding and Robotic Cladding of Layers with Specified Performance Parameters". The research is aimed at import substitution of welding (surfacing) materials, fluxes used in automatic welding. According to the authors of the project, the economic effect of introducing their development will reduce the cost of surfacing operations by 20% and the introduction of anthropogenic raw materials will have a positive environmental effect.

Representatives of KemSU presented the "Smart Home Hydroponics System based on a neural network. To the classic design, the developers of the "smart system" added the ability to adjust certain indicators (lighting, ventilation, the volume of nutrient solution) to the general microclimate of the room, which helps reduce energy consumption. The author of the development is a graduate student of KemSU Alexander Maksimenko, direction "Mechatronics and robotics of biotechnological production.

For reference. The organizers of the fair were the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus together with the Belarusian Institute of System Analysis and Information Support of Scientific and Technical Sphere. The event is aimed at forming and development of connections between enterprises, organizations, scientific and educational institutions, usage of progressive scientific-technical and innovation developments in real economy sector. The program of the fair includes the presentations of the innovative developments with high potential for commercialization. According to the results of the fair the catalog of innovative developments will be issued.
