In the Republic of Belarus on the basis of the innovation association "Republican Center for Technology Transfer" a representative office of the scientific and educational center "Kuzbass" was opened. An agreement on mutual representation of the parties' interests, developments in various branches of science and their introduction into industrial production has been concluded.
"Representative offices of Kuzbass "Research and Education Center" operate in China, Mongolia, Vietnam and now - in the Republic of Belarus. Kuzbass scientists and researchers are open to exchange of experience, ready to work together to develop advanced technologies, to provide their inventions for implementation at enterprises and facilities of friendly countries, to adopt the experience of foreign colleagues. The Kuzbass Research and Development Center is a platform that consolidates education, science and business to promote innovative solutions required by the industry as quickly as possible", - said Sergey Tsivilev, Governor of the Kemerovo Region - Kuzbass.
The opening of the representative office was the result of a lot of preparatory work; representatives of Kuzbass traveled to the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Belarus in September 2022. In addition, a number of preliminary agreements on cooperation were reached during the face-to-face participation of Alexander Uspensky, Director of the Republican Center for Technology Transfer of the Republic of Belarus, in the "Days of Science in Kuzbass - 2023" in February this year.
The opening ceremony was held in the online conference mode. Irina Ganieva, Director of the Autonomous Nonprofit Organization "Scientific and Educational Center "Kuzbass", told the Belarusian colleague about the current and planned scientific and technical projects, large complex industry events in coal mining, metallurgy and health protection, as well as about the system of technology transfer to the real economy of Kuzbass.
Alexander Uspensky presented to the participants of the "Research and Educational Center "Kuzbass" the experience of the Republican Center for Technology Transfer of the Republic of Belarus and shared recommendations for inclusion of requests or proposals for areas of cooperation with Belarusian organizations.
