Scientists from organisations participating in the Centre «Kuzbass – Donbass» presented the region at the fair of innovative developments in the Republic of Belarus

A fair of innovative developments «Industry: from innovation to production» was held in Minsk. Kuzbass scientists – representatives of organisations from among the participants of the Centre «Kuzbass – Donbass» presented their developments in videoconference mode.

- Sergey Feiler, Head of the Department of Ferrous Metals Metallurgy and Chemical Technology of SibGIU, presented heat-insulating granules for ferrous metallurgy.

- Alexey Mikhno, Director of the Scientific and Production Centre «Welding Processes and Technologies» of SibGIU, presented welding (cladding) fluxes made of technogenic wastes of metallurgical production.

- Alexander Bogomolov, Head of the Department of Thermal Power Engineering at KuzSTU, presented two types of sorbents: from D grade coal and from quarry tyres.

In 2021, a cooperation agreement was concluded between ANO RAC «Kuzbass» and the Belarusian Institute of System Analysis and Information Support of Scientific and Technical Sphere (BelISA). Kuzbass scientists annually take part in fairs of innovative developments organised by BelISA. By presenting their developments at large venues, scientists increase the recognisability of Kuzbass as a region of scientific research.
