More than 40 foreign students of Kuzbass universities from Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Benin and China gathered at the cultural and educational forum dedicated to memory of ancestors and legendary figures. The project was organized by KemSMU of the Ministry of Health of Russia in collaboration with the Research and Academic Centre «Kuzbass – Donbass». The goal of the event was the preservation of the memory of heroes who participated in the Great Patriotic War.
Foreign students of Kuzbass universities presented reports in Russian about deeds of heroes of various nationalities during the Great Patriotic War. During the performance students noted the importance of patriotism and protection of the Homeland.
Participants of the forum also presented reports about heroes of their countries, families and dynasties where the tradition of service to the Motherland are passed down through generations.
The best reports at the forum «Glory to the Heroes of the Motherland: legendary figures of my country» were awarded diplomas and valuable prizes by an expert jury.
Nowadays over 3800 international students from near and far abroad are studying at universities, technical schools and colleges in Kuzbass. Programs for comfortable adaptation and educational work plans for the academic year, focused on development of a language environment that promotes integration into socio-cultural space of region’s educational institutions are implemented. Foreign students regularly participate in cultural, intellectual and creative events.
