Scientific and Educational Center (SEC) "Kuzbass" and the Institute of Technological Innovation and International Training under the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations agreed to represent the interests of the SEC participants in Vietnam, as well as to develop international relations in education and science, in particular in the framework of bilateral scientific and technical projects.
The signing took place during the round table, which was attended by representatives of the Kuzbass Scientific and Educational Center and five scientific and educational organizations of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The organizations of Vietnam and Kuzbass agreed on future scientific projects and areas of cooperation, and exchanged invitations to conferences, symposia and forums. At the meeting a document on cooperation between the Siberian State Industrial University and the Hanoi University of Mining and Geology was also signed.
The head of the department of international cooperation of the ANO "Scientific-Educational Center "Kuzbass" Ivan Skornyakov noted that now the higher educational institutions in the region have two new partners, major universities of the capital of Vietnam - the University of Economics and Industrial Technologies and the Hanoi University of Mining and Geology. In addition, according to the results of the round table, the Ho Chi Minh Industrial University is considering the possibility of partnership with the Kuzbass organization, which is close in its areas of training.
Representatives of the regional Ministry of Science and Higher Education, ANO "Scientific-Educational Center "Kuzbass", Kuzbass State Technical University named after T.F. Gorbachev and the Siberian State Industrial University attended the meeting.

The round table is included in the Russian part of the program of the Year of Science and Technology Cooperation Russia - ASEAN.
